hello folks....
am a 63 year old retired male from canada....meaning, i'm an electronic dinosaur attempting to crawl outa the primordial ooze into the current century, while there's still a chance for me....old dogs and new tricks....etc....
had joined facebook, began ranting daily....wasn't long before alienating a few and "un"-friending a few more....came to see that i was looking for a site like this....fortunately any friends/family worth knowing will forgive the exuberance and excitement....or not....we shall see.
looking for a way to tell the stories, share life experiences, and reach out to like minded/hearted souls.
been a long, windy, and (i imagine) not the typical pathway so far.
as usual, have found that directing my personal views upon my innocent family....has accomplished the usual response....not much of anything....i imagine the look of bewilderment on their collective and individual faces as they attempt to interpret what the &%#$ i'm on about....this time around....lol.
of course, i'm a newbie to blogging....so would appreciate any help, suggestions, advise, etc....
have been blogging daily on a flip camera for about 8 months or so (and viewing entries on TV monitor....been great for personal journalling, ranting, processing difficult emotions, seeing self as others might....but had yet to choose to share these with "the world"....basically considering each episode as personal diary entries.
so today is the day of graduation into the world of "blogging"....and so far, written entries seem the most suitable medium....for now.
ask questions, i'm a reasonably older geezer, and have learned a few tricks along the way.
if you think you're smarter than me, you're probably right....i'd likely not wish to compete with another unappreciated genius.
looking forward to sharing experience, strength and hope and other nitty-gritty tales with you all !
