Of course I see these things
it's all I choose to do all day
It's never personal they say;
whoever "they" are anyway ?
But this I know as true as life;
the tiniest hurt is like a pebble
causing lasting harmful ripples
throughout space and time.
If I could only know the suffering
I bring to those who've yet to be;
I might think twice or even more
about things I say or do to thee.
