Been wasting away in this hovel
for too many days to count;
wishing, hoping, scheming,
sometimes even praying,
for any way to get out.
No answer until this point.
The more I twist my mind,
the closest thing to a way out
is to go down deep inside.
There is no way out of here,
and never shall there be;
is the truth I have to tell.
If I've learned one thing by now
there is no way out but in !
